Rock Lee: DYNAMIC ENTRY! [kicks Kushimaru's sword]
Kushimaru: Idiot. You could have attacked me, but you had to save that dead weight. You don't stop her death, only delayed it.
Rock Lee: Sakura-san is no dead weight! If not for her, the death toll would be doubled. If not for her...you wouldn't have distracted yourself so that I could disarm you!
Kushimaru: I'll say it again: Idiot! I still have the string and can pull my sword back into my--
Kushimaru pulls at string, seeing that it's been cut. He looks on the ground and sees a kuni by his sword. Lee picks up the sword.
Rock Lee: Crude, but it will do. Sakura-san, continue to heal the wounded. I'll handle this.
Kushimaru: You...you used a kuni on the ground to cut my string!?
Rock Lee: Just because a weapon isn't in enemy hands, doesn't mean they can't still use it. [cuts the weights on his legs off]
Kushimaru: Wha...!? Weights? Who the Hell are you!?
Rock Lee: I am Rock Lee! The Leaf's Handsome Devil!
Cut to Motoi, who has stepped out of the cave. A ways out are Mei and a sensor.
Mei: So, how's the kid doing?
Motoi: His progress is amazing. He should master the Tailed Beast Ball in a few days, maybe faster. I don't know what to do after that.
Mei: So quickly!? And at his age!? It took Forth Muzikage-sama five years to tame the Sanbi, and he was much older. This Naruto kid must be something else.
Sensor shinobi: Then maybe we won't be needed Mizukage-sama. After all, if Madara attacks him, he'll be more likely to defeat him than you...no offense.
Mei: None taken. But it's not a question of him being able to protect himself. If he's attacked, he'll know something is up. From what Tsunade-sama told me, he's not the type to sit around and let everyone else do the work.
Motoi: No...but...I think...I think he might become so powerful that it doesn't matter. I've never seen such power and determination in one man before.
Mei: A potent combination.
The sensor winces.
Mei: Is he here, Hibiki?
Hibiki: No! Oh, Kami! It's Madara!
Motoi: Where is he!? What direction?
Hibiki: He's not coming here! We made a mistake! He's not coming for the Jinchuriki!
Cut to Madara.
Hibiki (blocking): He's after the Daimyos!
Madara: Good job, Zetsu.
Zetsu: Isn't this a waste of time, Madara? Why bother killing the Daimyos?
Madara: There is one thing I admired about Hashirama's plan for the first shinobi village. Rather than overthrow the Daimyo, he entered an alliance with him. This way, the Daimyo wouldn't have to worry about forming and funding an army; and the Hokage wouldn't have to worry about starving villages and international trade. It was perfect in everyone's eyes. But without the Daimyos, the Kages will have to take their place. They'll have to thin their resources. Their spirits will weaken, making them an easier target.
Off-panel character: Great plan, but you're forgetting something.
The speaker is shown. It's Chojuro.
Chojuro: You'll have to get past me first!
Madara: Ho ho. Such brave words. Do you really think you stand a chance against Uchiha Madara?
Chojuro (thinking): Damn, he's right. I could get killed, but I can't back down. Even if I die, I might be able to pass on some info that will help the Alliance.
Zetsu: Madara, look out! He's no ordinary shinobi. He's--
Madara: I know. After all, I did control the Mizukage after he'd been appointed. I've heard everything about Yagura's little brother, Koizumi Chojuro. The man who killed Hozuki Mangetsu and the Last Swordsman of the Mist. The Thunder King!
